Day 1 Arrival in Kashgar

Hello, welcome to our 4-day private Xinjiang tour to Kashgar! Upon arrival, a local private driver will wait for you at the airport terminal exit by holding a welcome sign with your name. Then drive you to the well-selected hotel and have a good rest. The rest of the day is free at your disposal.

Day 2 Karakuri Lake Tour from Kashgar
Spend a Whole Day Exploring the Lake Scenery

Today, we will drive about 3 hours to do a full-day Kashgar side tour to Karakuri Lake which has an altitude of 3,600 meters and has a snow cap all year around. Standing on the bank of the lake, tourists will witness the picturesque scenery created by the towered Mustagh Ata with pure white cap and the Karakuri Lake lying at its foot. Spend your free time strolling around the lake. After the tour, drive back to Kashgar for the night.

Day 3 Kashgar City Tour
Admire the Traditional Uyghur Architectural Art

After breakfast, start your Kashgar city tour at the Abakh Khoja Tomb, aka the Fragrant Concubine’s Tomb, actually a family mausoleum blending history and legend. It is named after Fragrant Concubine, a beloved concubine of Qianlong, who is buried here. The tomb is a magnificent building, incorporating traditional Uyghur architectural art, with glazed brickwork.

After that, go to visit the lively Sunday Bazaar, as a place where merchants from Central and South Asia gather. With a long history and was built in the Tang Dynasty, it is a great place for shopping and savoring authentic flavors as it gathers all kinds of handicrafts and cuisines. The bazaar witnessed the prosperity of the Silk Road.

Day 4 Departure from Kashgar
Explore the Highlights of Mosque and Old Town

Today is the last day of your Xinjiang tour in Kashgar. You will be guided to visit the Id Kah Mosque, founded in 1442, one of the largest mosques in Xinjiang. The mosque is not only an important place for Muslims to conduct religious activities, but also an important window to understand Islamic culture and Uyghur traditions in Xinjiang.

Next, walk around the Kashgar Old Town. The ancient city is crisscrossed with streets and alleys, and most of the dwellings are of adobe and brick structures, which are simple and elegant. It is a place where traditional Uyghur handicrafts and cuisines are gathered. You can stroll through the alleys and feel the rich ethnic flavor. After the visit, transfer you to the airport for flight departing Kashgar. End of your 4-day Kashgar trip in Xinjiang.
