Day 1-2 Arrival, Hotan Tour
Enjoy a full day exploring the highlights of Hotan including Hotan Bazaar, White Jade Factory, and Hotan Museum.
Day 3 Yarkand Tour
Drive to Yarkand to visit the Yarkand Golden Grave Yard and explore the past of the Yarkand Old Town.
Day 4-5 Kashgar Tour, Flight to Urumqi
On the way to Kashgar, stop to visit the Uyghur Knife Factory. Then arrive in Kashgar to explore the highlights including Kashgar Old Town, Id Kah Mosque, Tomb of Sultan Satuk Bughra Khan, Abakh Hoja Tomb, Sunday Market. Take a flight to Urumqi, and drive to Turpan.
Day 6-8 Turpan Tour, Back to Urumqi, Departure
Enjoy 2 full days exploring the highlights of Turpan including Karez Well, Sugong Pagoda, Jiaohe Ruins, Bezklik Grottoes, Tuyuq Valley, and Flaming Mountain. After that, drive back to Urumqi for a visit to the International Bazaar.

Day 1 Arrival in Hotan
Welcome to Hotan for this 8-day Xinjiang trip. Upon arrival, your local driver will meet you at the exit of the Arrival Hall and then transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you.

Day 2 Hotan Highlights Tour
Appreciate Various Types of Jade and Stones
Your Hotan tour will start with a visit to the Hotan Bazaar. Just like many other rural bazaars in Xinjiang, Hotan Bazaar is also bustling on Sundays. In history, Hotan is one of the major places that produce jade. Hotan Jade is of high quality.
Today we will pay a visit to the White Jade Factory to see the manufacturing process of jade artworks and appreciate some delicate jade subjects. Then we will pay a visit to Hotan Museum to learn about the local area’s past.

Day 3 Hotan to Yarkand Tour
Glimpse What Yarkand Looks Like in the Old Days
After breakfast, we will drive to Yarkand. In Yarkand, you will be guided to visit two highlight attractions. The first one is the Yarkand Golden Grave Yard. The graveyard covers an area of 1050 square meters. Though the graves are all centuries old, they are all well-preserved.
After that, pay a visit to the Yarkand Old Town where you can see what the county looks like in the old days. Finishing all visits, check in at the hotel in Yarkand.

Day 4 Yarkand to Kashgar Tour
Experience the Life of Local People in Kashgar Old Town
In the morning, board the car and drive to Kashgar. On the way, you will pay a visit to the Uyghur Knife Factory. Knife is an important part of Uyghur folk culture. A pretty knife is the must-have thing for each Uyghur people.
When arriving in Kashgar, have lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, take a walk in the Old Town of Kashgar to see the old-style folk houses and the life of local people. Then go to visit Id Kah Mosque, a typical Islamic architecture like domes, minarets, and arches, as well as pious prayers. It has a 500-year history.

Day 5 Kashgar Tour
Learn about Islam and Its Ancient Architectural Complex
Today, continue your Xinjiang tour by visiting the highlight sites of Kashgar. The first stop would be Tomb of Sultan Satuk Bughra Khan. He was the first Uyghur people to accept Islam. The tomb will be followed by the Mor Buddhist Pagoda, the only existing Buddhist pagoda in Kashgar.
Then, transfer to visit Abakh Hoja Tomb, which is a 350 year old Islamic ancient architectural complex. Legend has it that this place is buried with Emperor Qianlong’s beloved concubine, Fragrant Imperial Concubine, hence its name.
The last stop is the Sunday Market, which is the largest international trade market on the northwest boundary line of China.

Day 6 Kashgar to Urumqi Tour by Flight, Urumqi to Turpan Tour
Admire an Islamic Pagoda and Explore the Earth City Construction
In the early morning, take the flight to Urumqi. At Urumqi airport, met by local guide and driver. Then drive to Turpan and pay a visit to Karez Well – a unique irrigation system in the region, known as one of the “Three Great Projects of Ancient Times”.
Next, admire the Sugong Pagoda, the largest existing ancient Islamic pagoda in Xinjiang. At last, we will visit Jiaohe Ruins which was once the biggest and oldest city built on rammed earth, dating back to the 2nd century BC. In the evening, have dinner with a local Uighur family.

Day 7 Turpan to Urumqi Tour
Appreciate Buddhist Relics and Explore Local Orchards
In the morning, your Xinjiang tour in Turpan start with Bezklik Grottoes where you can appreciate the Buddhist relics in Xinjiang. Next, move to Astana Tombs which is called the “Underground Museum of Turpan Area”. The 500 tombs will tell you detailed information about the ancient Gaochang Kingdom.
Afterward, transfer to visit Tuyuq Valley where you will see vineyards, orchards, narrow roads, and irrigation channels stretch through local earth-and-brick houses while taking a walk. Finally, go to the Flaming Mountain to feel the temperature of the hottest place in China. Drive back to Urumqi and visit the International Bazaar. After that, go back to hotel.
