Upon your arrival, our guide and driver will meet you at hotel. Then transfer to your hotel. Enjoy free time in the rest of the day.
After hotel breakfast, we will board the car and drive to Dawakun Desert Scenic Area. A large natural lake and the vast desert co-exist here for thousands of years. The European style villas, the Uyghur style yurts, and the ethnic culture park dotted in the scenic area. Camel ride and cross desert vehicle are optional and they would make your desert sightseeing day more exciting. After the tour, you will be escorted back to Kashgar hotel.
In the morning meet your guide and driver in your hotel and then drive along the Sino- Pakistan Highway to Karakul Lake which has an altitude of 3600 meters and has the snow cap all year around. Standing on bank of the lake tourists will witness the picturesque scenery created by the towered Mustagh Ata with pure white cap and the Karakul Lake lying at its foot. Then continue the tour to Stone City which lies at north part of Tashiku’ergan Tajike Autonomous County. Here is the meeting spot of the Mid Route and South Route of ancient Silk Road. In the Han Dynasty, Stone City was the capital of Puli Kingdom in West Region. After the visiting transfer to Tashiku’ergan Tajike Autonomous County and check in local hotel.

Our guide and driver will meet you in hotel at confirmed time. Then after a 30 minutes driving you will arrive at Hongqilafu Port. The port has an altitude of 4700 meters and boasts grand beautiful scenery. But the tough natural condition makes here less populated. Please take your passport today because you need it to get the visiting permit from frontier station of Kashiku’ergan County. In the afternoon we will drive to Shufu County to visit the Kashgar Old City. The old city area covers an area of 4.25km2 and has a population of 126.8 thousand people. Most folk houses here were built with earth, brick, and wood. You will find the centuries old houses here and there. After the tour transfer to your hotel in Kashgar.
Today we will spending the morning time to explore the hometown of Uyghur Knife – Yingjisha Village. You will learn about history of Yingjisha Knife. And with help of high-tech and your imagination, the computer system would draft a Yingjisha Knife for only you. After lunch, we will pay a visit to Pottery Art Village to learn about the traditional pottery making skill. If you are interested, you could make your own pottery ware. Then return to your hotel.
After hotel breakfast pick up from hotel lobby and drive to visit Sunday Market which is also known as Sunday Bazaar, the largest international trade market on the northwest boundary line of China. After that you will visit Abakh Khoja Tomb, an ancient Islamic building complex from the 17th century and a cemetery where five generations of famous Islamic masters were buried. In the afternoon we will pay a visit to Id Kah Mosque, a typical Islamic architecture like domes, minarets and arches, as well as pious prayers. It has a 500 years history.
