Upon your arrival, our guide and driver will greet you at airport/ train station. Then transfer to your hotel. After a short rest your Urumqi tour will start!
The first stop would be Xinjiang Museum. In the museum you will see the relics that show the autonomous region’s history and the local conditions and customs. The highlight for normal visitors may be the well preserved mummies. After that you will take a walk in Red Hill Park which is regarded as the symbol of present Urumqi. Standing at top of the hill you will have a bird’s eye of Urumqi city. At last pay a visit to Xinjiang International Bazaar. The bazaar is honored as the “Window of Xinjiang” and “Window of Central Asia”. In that typical Uyghur style grand bazaar, you will have an in-depth look of the folk culture of Xinjiang.

After your hotel breakfast, meet your guide and driver at hotel lobby and then head to Heavenly Lake. 100 kilometers away from city of Urumqi, Heavenly Lake gives the impression of nobleness, elegance and beauty. Clear lake, snow mountains and soaring trees compose the charming scenery of the Heavenly Lake. Then back to hotel in Urumqi.
Our local guide will pick you up from hotel and then transfer to visit the Flaming Hill, the hottest place in China in summer. Then visit the Jiaohe City Ruins. Jiaohe city existed from the 2nd century BC to the 5th century AD. It belonged to Cheshi Kingdom, one of the 36 powerful kingdoms in West Regions in ancient time. At present it is the largest and best preserved earth building in the world. At last we will pay a visit to Karez Well, the unique irrigation system in desert. In Turpan there are 1000+ Karez wells which have a total length of 5000+ meters. Together with Jinghang Grand Canal, Great Wall, they are called the Three Great Projects of Ancient China. After the tour, transfer back to Urumqi.
Today will be all about recreation. After breakfast, the guide and driver will greet you in hotel. Then drive for about 1 hour we will arrive at Silk Road International Holiday Resort. In the resort you will enjoy the snow skiing and hot spring. The Silk Road International Ski Resort is one of the top three ski resorts in China. There are 8 trails for the skiers at different level. The sightseeing cable car would transfer you to/from the ski field which has an altitude of 2280 meters. You will enjoy the exciting skiing time and enjoy the beautiful snow scenery of Tianshan Mountain. After lunch on your own, you will enjoy the relaxing by having a hot spring bath. It would be just what you need after the intense skiing time. After the hot spring bath we will drive toward Korla city and check in local hotel.
In the early morning we will drive to Luobu People Village. The driving time would be around 5 hours. It would be a good chance to see the country scenery of Xinjiang. Luobu Village covers an area of 72km2. 20 families spread in the vast land of the village. Luobu People is a branch of Uyghur people. They earn life by fishing and pasturing. Desert, river, diversifolious poplar, and the Luobu People customs are the highlight of the village. After the tour, transfer back to hotel in Urumqi.
At confirmed time, the guide and driver will pick you up from hotel. Then transfer to airport / train station for departure.
