    Itinerary Details

    Day 1Alma arrival

    Welcome to Kazakhstan! You will be greeted by the local guide and driver holding a name board when you arrive at the Alma-Ata airport. Then you will be transferred to your local hotel for check-in. The rest of day is free at your disposal. Accommodation: Alma-Ata

    Day 2Alma-Ata

    After the breakfast in hotel, you will be driven southwards to the famous Malaya Almatinka valley tourist area. Take a cable car to the snow mountain with 3200m altitude where the largest Asian ski resort locates. A place with Snow Mountain, forest, beautiful houses will enjoy you a lot. You will have your lunch at the local restaurant and afterwards, come back to Alma-Ata to visit the Independence Square, the Akorda Presidential Palace and the final National Museum of Kazakhstan. Then, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Accommodation: Alma-Ata

    Day 3Alma-Ata – Bishkek

    Have your breakfast in the hotel in the morning and go to visit the Almaty Television Tower Park. You will take a sightseeing bus to go up and have a bird-eye’s view to the whole Alma-Ata city on the top. Also have a lunch at the local restaurant. The next stop is Panfilov Park where you will visit the Sculptures to memorize the victory for the patriotic war, the Eternal Flame, the Eastern Orthodox Church built in the early 20th century, the Art Street and some local crafts shops…… After that, take flight to the Capital of Kazakhstan, Bishkek, also the largest city in this country. You will be picked up at the airport and then transferred o the local hotel for check-in. Accommodation: Bishkek

    Day 4Bishkek

    Today you are going to spend a whole day at Bishkek which actually is a young city. After the breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and driver to visit the Oak Park where some old oak tress has lived for hundreds of years. Then go to the History Museum to dig out the past history and culture deeply of this beautiful country. You will be surprised at some ancient tents, mummification, carpets and some outdoor tombstone with Turkish totem. Move to visit the Ancient Square, Capitol, Aratu Square (the ever Lenin Square), Ahorda (Presidental Palace), Manas Heroes Square and the Guildhall. After the time spent at those interesting spots, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Accommodation: Bishkek

    Day 5Bishkek – Issyk Kul Lake

    After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you to the border regions between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan for the famous Issyk Kul Lake at about 260km away (about 3.5 hours drive). The lake is honored as “A Pearl in Central Asia”, with the largest ctachments water and the depth of the water among the alpine lakes in the world. It is pretty popular tourist & health resort in Central Asia. After the visit here, you will be escorted to the local hotel for rest. Accommodation: Issyk Kul Lake

    Day 6 Issyk Kul Lake – Bishkek – Tashkent

    You will continue to explore the Issyk Kul Lake after the hotel breakfast. The golden beach and aquamarine water embraced by the Snow Mountains will entertain you a lot and show you the please about being away from the noisy metropolis. In the afternoon, you will be sent back to the Bishkek Airport to take flight to the next destination: Tashkent. Upon your arrival here, you will be picked up by the local driver to your local hotel for check-in. Accommodation: Tashkent

    Day 7 Tashkent

    You are going to have a whole day at Tashkent, the biggest city in central Asia and the center of Uzbekistan in politic, economy, culture and transportation. Tashkent had been one of most important commercial hub on the Silk Road and left with trace by the Zhang Qian, Fa Xian monk and Xuan Zang monk of China. Your guide will lead you to explore the downtown at these famous sites: the Independence Square in the center of the city, the Sculptures about memorizing the miserable mother, Houses of Parliament, National Park, a local famous square, the Mosque storing one of the only 3 transcripts of Koran in the world. Finishing all visits there, you will be taken back to your hotel for rest. Accommodation: Tashkent

    Day 8Tashkent – Khujand

    Start today’s tour after breakfast in the morning by taking the car to the border areas between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan firstly. Then continue to drive to the Khujand at the border areas between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan which is the second largest city in Tajikistan and also one of the oldest cities in central Asia. When arrive there, you will visit the new Khujand History Museum built in 2006, the local Mosque, Sheykh Muslihiddin and Panjshanbe Bazaars, Saidkhuja Urunkhudjayev Cultural Palace built in Stalin time, Tajiki Lake and the last one Archaeological Museum. You will be sent back to hotel afterwards. Accommodation: Khujand

    Day 9Khujand – Dushanbe

    You will be transferred to the airport for flight to Dushanbe in the morning. Upon arrival, the local guide and driver will greet you and then take you to the downtown. Firstly, come to visit the National Museum and the local famous square. Then drive about 30km westwards to visit the fortress relics occupied by Bokhara’s royalist Ibrahim Beg as well as relics of a madrasa and a museum. On the way to those sites, you will have chance to learn about the local culture and customs. You will be transferred to the hotel in Dushanbe when the visiting finished. Accommodation: Dushanbe

    Day 10 Dushanbe – Termez

    You will have your breakfast in the hotel and then take a car to Termez. The first spot you will visit is Fayaz-tepe Temple which is a Buddhist temple of 3rd century and found until 1968. Then come to visit Termez Archaeology Musem to learn about the disappeared civilization of this city. The Al-Hakim al-Termiz whose owner was a philosopher and regarded as the City God will let you know more about this city. What’s more, on the way to the tomb you will have chance to see the famous Zurmala Tower. Continue to explore Sultan Saodat Graveyard where the governors from 11-15th century had been buried. And the final two spots the Islamic building Honako Kokaldor and the Kirk Kiz Earth Wall will give you an impressed ending for the today’s tour. You will be dropped at your local hotel finally. Accommodation: Termez

    Day 11Termez – Samarkand

    Still have the breakfast in the hotel firstly and then take a car to Samarkand. Upon arrival, you are going to visit the seminary building group on the Registan Square, from which you will learn a lot about the history of the education, religion, culture and architectures of this country. Next go to the largest grave building group of 14-15th centuries. Finally your guide and driver will send you to the local hotel. Accommodation: Samarkand

    Day 12Samarkand – Bukhara

    Today’s travel will start from Ulugh Beg Ohservatory which is one of most important ancient relics in Uzbekistan after hotel breakfast. It had been built by the ever governor Ulugh Beg of Samarkand who was the grandson of the noble Tamerlane, also a great astronomer, scholar, poet and philosopher. After the lunch, take train to Bukhara and pay a visit around the city at some tombs, mosques, local famous square, local old architectures relics and some interesting crafts market. Accommodation: Bukhara

    Day 13Bukhara

    You will spend this day in Bukhara which is the third large city in Uzbekistan with more than 2500 years’ history, located at the Zeravshan River delta. Follow you local guide to have a look around this city, especially at Winter Palace of the last King of Bukhara, the old famous tombs and a Folk-Custom Show & Dinner in the evening. Finally, you will be dropped at the local hotel. Accommodation: Bukhara

    Day 14Bukhara – Mari

    After the breakfast you will be taken to the border of Bukhara and then continue to change a car to Mari which was called Merv ever. Mari locates at the southeast of Turkmenistan, being the fourth large city and important port city of this country as well as a significant oasis city on the ancient Silk Road. The old Merv City existing has been listed as the World Heritage. In the city, there is the Museum of Revolutionary History and relics of the ancient Merv city. As it will cost lots of time on the drive, you will have a brief exploration for the city today and then dropped at the local hotel for the rest. Accommodation: Mari

    Day 15Mari – Ashkhabad

    You will have your breakfast at the hotel before picked up by your guide and driver. Then you will come to the Capital of Turkmenistan Ashgabat. It is one of fasted developed cities in the world with all new buildings here designed by French and constructed by Turkish. When you arrive at this city, you will be transferred to the local hotel for rest. Accommodation: Ashkhabad

    Day 16Ashkhabad

    Start your travel in the downtown after breakfast. Neutral Gate is a must-see site in this city. On the top of the Gate is there a 12-meters-top Niyazov Image which always keeps heading to the sun whenever. The Independence Square is another famous spot where you will have an outer look to the Turkmenbashi Palace and Ruhyyet Palace and so on. Also you will get chance to learn more about this city: Earthquake Monument, Soviet War Memorial, the Presidential Administrative Building and Ashkhabad National University (outer look), the National Museum and the Cultural Square. Afterwards, you will come to visit Khezrety Omar Mosque and MoSkovsky Street where the beautiful Independence Park. Finally, come back to your hotel. Accommodation: Ashkhabad

    Day 17Ashkhabad departure

    The wonderful 17 days journey in Central Asia would end at today. You will be picked up from your hotel to go to the airport for your departing flight. Tour ends here. Hope you back journey smooth!
