    Itinerary Details

    Day 1Xian Arrival

    Arrange your own flight to Xian. And upon your arrival in Xian, our driver and guide will pick you up from airport and transfer to hotel for rest. The rest day is free for you. Accommodation: Xian

    Day 2Xian

    In the morning, you will visit the world’s eighth wonder, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. In the afternoon, we will drive back to down town Xian to visit ancient City Wall, the largest and best preserved city wall in China which stands 12 meters tall in center of Xian city. Descending the City Wall, we will take a walk around Bell and Drum Tower Square to have an out look of Bell Tower and Drum Tower. Back to hotel. Accommodation: Xian

    Day 3Xian

    In morning, pick up from your hotel and go to visit Shaanxi History Museum which is one the biggest museums in China housing the cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province and shows the development of the Chinese civilization. In the afternoon, continue to visit the nearby Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was build 1,300 years ago in the Tang Dynasty to keep the Buddhist Sutra brought back to China from ancient India by Master Xuanzang. You may have chance to see the music fountain show in North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In the evening, you will have the Dumpling Dinner and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Dance and Music Show. After that, back to your hotel at around 9:10pm. Accommodation: Xian

    Day 4Xian to Dunhuang By flight

    Pick up from hotel and transfer to Xian airport for flight to Dunhuang. Met by your guide and driver and check in hotel. The rest day is free for you. Accommodation: Dunhuang

    Day 5Dunhuang

    Start today’s tour with Mogao Caves, one of the four most famous caves in China. In the afternoon, continue to visit the Echoing-Sand Mountain. When you slide down the slope, you can hear the roaring echo of sands, hence the name. A short Camel Ride will leave you a unforgettable memory. Riding along the mountain to reach the Crescent Lake, your eyes will be feasted on the crescent-shaped spring surrounded by the endless Gobi desert. Back to hotel for rest. Accommodation: Dunhuang

    Day 6Dunhuang to Turpan by soft sleeper train

    Today we will drive to Yumen Pass to pay a full day tour to the less visited and untroubled Han Dynasty Great Wall built in the Han Dynasty. Which are about 1100 years older than the Great Wall in Beijing. Though the Han Great Wall was damaged by sands and rains badly, the ruins are till magnificent. Accommodation: Soft sleeper train

    Day 7Turpan

    Upon your arrival in Turpan, met by local driver and guide and transfer directly to Sugong Pagoda, the largest existed ancient Islamic pagoda in Xinjiang. Next we will move to visit the Karez Well— an amazing irrigation system which made Turpan a rich oasis. Then back to hotel. At last go to visit the Jiaohe Ruins, one of the most important towns along the ancient Silk Road and the largest, oldest and best-preserved earth construction in the world. Accommodation: Turpan

    Day 8Turpan to Urumqi by private car

    In the morning, pick up from your hotel and drive to Urumqi to do your full day to Heavenly Lake and cruise on the lake. It will make you totally relaxed no matter you are sitting in a boat, walking in the mountains, or just standing by the lake. Accommodation: Urumqi

    Day 9Kashgar

    After hotel breakfast, drive to airport for flight to Kashgar. Upon yor arrival, met by local guide and driver and drive to visit the Id Kah Mosque, a typical Islamic architecture like domes, minarets and arches, as well as pious prayers. Next we will pay a visit to Sunday Market, also known as Sunday Bazaar, the largest international trade market on the northwest boundary line of China. Then head to Old Street of Kashgar, where bring you back to the ancient Kashgar, with narrow alleys and traditional houses built with earth or brick. Accommodation: Kashgar

    Day 10Kashgar to Karakuli Lake

    Today we will pay a full day tour to Karakuri Lake. After hotel breakfast, drive for about 3 hours we will arrive at the lake spot. The lake is surrounded by the mountain who wears snow cap almost all year round. The tranquil lake and it’s surrounding environment makes a big contrast to the bustling city area.     Day 11Kashgar Departure

    Pick up from your hotel and transfer to airport for flight to next destination at confirmed time. Service ends here.
