5 Days Xian & Luoyang Tour

Day 1 Luoyang Arrival (No Meals)
Our driver and guide will wait for you at the airport terminal exit /train station exit by holding a welcome sign with your name on it. Then you will be driven to the hotel and have a good rest. The rest of the day is free at your disposal. Accommodation: Luoyang


Shaolin Temple

Day 2 Luoyang (Breakfast+Lunch)
Our tour guide and driver will pick you up in your hotel lobby and then drive to Songshan County to visit the mysterious Shaolin Temple which is well-known as the birthplace of Chinese Zen Buddhism and Shaolin Martial Arts . In Shaolin Temple we will have chance to see the authentic Kongfu Show performance as the saying goes “All martial arts (gongfu) are from Shaolin”. One more highlight of the temple is the Pagoda Forest which is actually the tomb group of great monks who lived and died in Shaolin Temple from the Tang Dynasty to current years. Then back to hotel. Day 3 Luoyang to Xian by High Speed Train (Breakfast+Lunch)

Longmen Grottoes

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up in your hotel lobby and then start the tour with the White Horse Temple— It was regarded as the “originating court” and the “cradle of Chinese Buddhism” by the Buddhist disciples. The temple mainly consists of Tianwang Hall, Great Buddha Hall, Daxiong Hall, Jieyin Hall, Qingliang Terrace and Pilu Pavilion, which are all distributing along the north-south central axis. Next we will drive to Longmen Grottoes which is a treasure house of ancient stone-carving art more than 100,000 stone statues here,varying from 2-centimeter to 17.14-meter high and extending for about 1,094 yards along both banks of Yi River.It’s about 12 kilometers far away from Luoyang city. Along with Yungang Caves and Mogao Caves as well as Longmen Grottoes are regarded as the three most famous treasure houses of stone inscriptions in China.
Finishing sightseeing in Luoyang, you will b escorted to High Speed Train Station to catch G/D train to Xian. Upon arrival in Xian Station, met by local driver and transfer to hotel to check in. Accommodation: Xian


Day 4 Xian (Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner)

Terracotta Warriors and Horses

Our English speaking tour guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby in the morning. Then after a short visit to Terracotta Figures Factory which focuses on reproduction of Terracotta figures, you will be directly transfer to the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. Known as “the eighth Wonders of the world”, the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture, which is the most significant discovers of the 20th century. The splendid scene and format will leave you an impressive memory. After lunch, continuing visiting the Xian Ancient City Wall. It is the most complete preserved and the largest city wall in China. It was built for the military defense in the ancient time. Since it is cycling the city, visitors can ride a bike around the city wall. Last come to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is a worship place for Buddhists. The pagoda was originally built to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that Xuanzang brought back to China from India. Now the Big Wild Goose Pagoda have been built a big Garden, where people can have a retreat.
In the evening, you will enjoy the Dumpling Banquet for dinner. The dumpling banquet will be both view and taste feast. After the dinner, you will watch the Tang Dynasty Show, the most favorable night activity for ones Xian tour. At last, transfer back to the hotel at about 21:30. Accommodation: Xian


Muslim Quarter

Day 5 Xian Departure (Breakfast)
The tour guide and the driver will meet you in your hotel lobby and will go to visit the the Shaanxi History Museum which is one the biggest museums in China housing the cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province and shows the development of the Chinese civilization. Then move to visit Muslim Quarter, the most famous local food street where you will meet local snacks like casserole, Pita Bread Soaked in Lamb Soup, Roujiamo, Cold Noodles, etc. At last, be escorted to Xian airport or train station to depart Xian.
