Jiayuguan Pass

Gansu, with Lanzhou as its capital city, lies on the upper part of Yellow River. It neighbors Shaanxi to east, Sichuan and Qinghai to the south, links Xinjiang to the west and Inner Mongolia to the north. Ningxia used to be the crucial part along the ancient Silk Road, it also the golden hub for international trading in ancient time. The famous tourist cities in Gansu are: Tianshui, Lanzhou, Xiahe, Dunhuang, Jiayuguan, Wuwei, Jiayuguan, Zhangye.
